Phosphate ores are divided into two major groups of natural formations—phosphorites and apatites. Less often, aluminum phosphates, iron phosphates, and guano serve as phosphate ores. The major components of phosphate ores are the apatite phosphate minerals, the most common of which are fluorapatite (in endogenous apatite deposits) and carbonate apatite and its modifications, francolite and kurskite (in exogenous phosphorite deposits); hydroxylapatite sometimes occurs in significant amounts.
The commonly phosphate ore crushers are jaw crusher, impact crusher. For example, in the centre area, the scales of phosphate ore crushing plants are big, so raw materials are usually crushed by the jaw crusher firstly. jaw crushers are widely used in various mining ore crushing plants, no matter the material is hard or soft. And different models fit for different customers’ requirements of capacity very well.
When the raw materials are discharged from the jaw crushers, impact crushers will crush them to small particles. impact crushers are widely used in a lot of soft material crushing plants, such as limestone production line, gypsum crushing plants, coal crushing plants and talc processing plants. By using impact crusher, producers can crush phosphate ore to 5~0mm, 10~5mm,. 20~10mm easily. The discharging opening size is adjustable. Our PFW series impact crushers adopt hydraulic system, so the discharging opening size is well controlled.
If too many small scale phosphate ore crushing plants, many producers would like to produce smaller final product size (such as 3~0mm particles only) than sand size (5~0mm), so the output size of impact crusher is not able to meet the requirements well. In this condition, we recommend customers using our hammer crushers. It solves the problems very well. In this way, the final products can be sold to many industries directly.
For the feeding size of hammer crushers are small and the subsequent machines model should match the former ones. so the whole crushing plants configuration greatly depends on engineers’ design.
